Rimkus Consulting Group Promotes Key Personnel to Oversee Growing Business Operations in the U.S.
HOUSTON, TX (Jan. 16, 2007) – Rimkus Consulting Group, a global leader in forensic consulting services, continues its commitment to quality and its focus on providing clients with the most accomplished forensic engineers and trained experts in the industry with recent promotions of seven personnel responsible for managing the company’s growing business operations in the United States.
Those promoted include: John Dufour, Central Regional Manager (based in Chicago); Lynn Kleinvehn, Manager of the Chicago office; Patrick Fisher, Central Region Construction Manager (based in New Orleans); Jeremy Hoffpauir, Manager of the New Orleans office; Mark Hook, Central Region Forensic Manager; James “Wes” Jordan, Central Region Property Manager; and Craig Rogers, Central Region Assistant Property Manager.
A District Manager since joining Rimkus in 2002, John Dufour holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management from the University of South Florida and has more than 20 years of business management and sales experience. As Central Regional Manager, Dufour will supervise all central region offices, associated office managers and related marketing activities.
Lynn Kleinvehn has been a Rimkus Senior Consultant since 2002 and is a Registered Professional Engineer who holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering Sanitary Option from Marquette University and a Masters Degree in Water Resources Management from the University of Wisconsin at Madison. Kleinvehn has extensive experience in numerous areas including assessments of construction defects, moisture intrusion, foundation settlement, plumbing systems, and construction vibration. As Manager of the Chicago office, Kleinvehn will act as the lead client liaison and manage all business initiatives related to fire, forensic, property, environmental and related technical investigations for commercial, industrial and residential properties.
Since 2004, Jeremy Hoffpauir has worked as a Rimkus Consultant in Louisiana. He is a Registered Professional Engineer who holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. Among his specialties are vehicle accident analysis and reconstruction, mechanical equipment and machinery failure analysis, and industrial accident evaluations. As Manager of the New Orleans office, Hoffpauir will oversee all office activities in New Orleans and Lafayette. He will act as the lead client liaison and will manage all business initiatives.
A Rimkus Project Consultant since 2002 and Registered Professional Engineer in Louisiana, Patrick Fisher holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Penn State University and has held positions in field engineering, offshore installations, structural design, construction management, land development, heavy rigging and crane lifts, project management and home construction and renovation. In addition to his current responsibilities, Mr. Fisher will now oversee construction related projects and focus on promoting and expanding the Construction Division in the Central Region.
Mark Hook has served as a Rimkus Project Consultant since 2002 and holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Florida Atlantic University. Mr. Hook is a Registered Professional Engineer in Georgia, a Certified Accident Reconstructionist, an IAAI Certified Fire Investigator, Certified Fire and Explosion Investigator and a Certified Fire Investigation Instructor. In his new role as Central Region Forensic Manager, Hook will provide technical review and quality control of the forensic engineering reports issued from the Central Region and the Atlanta District Branch. He will also work with office staff engineers to provide leadership for the forensic group to provide continuing education and training for the forensic engineers within the region.
Since joining Rimkus Consulting Group in March 2002, Wes Jordan has performed hundreds of investigations for insurance companies, law firms, and property owners. Jordan graduated from Texas A&M University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering and holds an MBA from Purdue University. He is a Registered Professional Engineer in Indiana, Iowa, Louisiana, Ohio, Michigan, Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, and Kentucky. Although Jordon will continue as the District Manager for Indianapolis, he will also manage property division engineers and architects in Rimkus’ Central US regional offices to ensure clients receive the highest quality expert services in the forensic industry.
A Rimkus Consultant since 2002, Craig Rogers has investigated and evaluated commercial and residential structures to determine the cause of structural concerns. He received a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering, is a Registered Professional Engineer in Louisiana and Arkansas and offers experience in evaluating structures for damage from catastrophic weather events, determining extent of design defects, and evaluating as-built construction issues. As Central Region Assistant Property Manager, Rogers will assist in the development of training programs and processes for quality and consistency of Rimkus services throughout the region. This will include orientation and continued education programs as well as the development and implementation of technologies to standardize and improve workflow within the property division.
