"Environmental Site Investigations and Remediation: Forensic Issues from Assessment to Zero-Valent Iron" will walk attendees through the process of an environmental claim from the time of the incident through the resolution process. The presenters will provide the necessary steps that should be undertaken by claims managers, attorneys, and consultants as they are brought into an environmental claim. "Ceiling Failures," is a paper that discusses various types of ceiling failures, with an emphasis on drywall (gypsum board) and plaster systems commonly found in residential construction. Ceiling construction materials and installation standards will be reviewed, including a discussion on common installation defects and reparability concerns. “Richmond Hill Subdivision Explosion Case Study,” is a paper that discusses a natural gas explosion which occurred on November 10. 2012, in the Richmond Hill subdivision on the south side of Indianapolis, Indiana, causing 2 deaths and extensive property damage. The purpose of this paper is to share the authors’ experience in this investigative effort, with a focus on the type and extent of damage found in the homes surrounding the explosion source.
